SOMARA is the proud owner / operator of the barge SAY So, a new construction (delivered in 11/2021), classed by DNV, with very special features, including:
- a 45′ long heavy duty ramp (tested at 120 tons load)
- 6 double bottom tanks, with a total capacity of 1000 m3, with piping arrangement and manifolds
- Bin walls of 3 meters high and a wave breaker for the cargo protection
During the rest of the time, the barge is hired to the industrial operators of the region for inter-Caribbean transports for bulk, break-bulk, heavy lift or project cargoes.
